birthday is a very important event in people’s life. It means that they become wiser. I like to do unusual
presents on birthday to members of all my family. Three months later my
dear grandfather had a birthday. He was sixty seven. He lives with us and
my mother made a great dinner in honour of this event. Other members of
all our family came to congratulated him with his day. He received a lot
of presents. But my gift was the best. He liked it very much. And I made
some efforts. I thought over for a long time what exactly to present to
my grandfather. I even input in yahoo “the best gift ever”.
But suddenly on one site I found a very good idea about the gift. They
printed everything you want on coffee mugs and T – shirts. I thought
that it would be a good idea and decided to present him a coffee mug with
his photograph on it. Besides, every morning he begins with a mug of coffee
and a newspaper. It is some kind of ritual for him. As I had a camera I
made a photograph of my grandfather and sent the request. In three days
the future gift tom grandfather was delivered to me. It was rather interesting.
Nowadays it is widespread. People use it that to make pleasure to their
close. But I had never been concern with it before. And I liked it. I even
thought to make a little collection of coffee mugs with our family; I mean
to present such gift to every member of my family on their birthdays. When I presented the gift to my grandfather he was very surprised. It was unusual for him, because he is not so modern. First he even thought that I painted his picture with myself. But then I explained to him how it works. And today he drinks his favorite coffee from the mug with his portrait. |
